Diagnostic Tools Download

The download for the diagnostic code consists of a setup kit built with the setup wizard supplied with VB5 and VB6. The only files installed by the kits are :

• LockdesignTools.dll
  This is the ActiveX DLL which contains the code for both the VB addin and the diagnostic tools.
  
  
• LockdesignTools.hlp
  This is the help file for the diagnostic tools
  
  
• LockdesignTools.cnt
  This is the help file contents for the diagnostic tools.
  

The setup kit is provided as a zip file which should be expanded into a temporary folder and then the Setup.exe file should be run.

The setup process modifies the VBAddIn.ini file in your Windows folder to reference the Lockdesign Diagnostic Tools so that they will automatically be available next time VB is started.

The tools were built with the Service Pack 5 for Visual Basic 6.

Any previous versions of LockdesignTools should be removed, via the Add/Remove Programs icon in the Control Panel, prior to installation.
